Some more pics...

Just a quick update on Isaiah...He went to the Dr. today and weighed 7lb. 15oz...Pretty close to pushing that 8lb mark. His jaundice has cleared, and he had a skull xray for the spot on the back of his head. We will know the results of that next Wednesday when he goes in for his PKU and circumsicion. That ought to be a grand visit. Other than that, I am just a bit nervous to have him all to myself next week w/o the help of my mom, but I suppose I'll have to spread those wings and fly sometime. It will be nice to have a three day weekend as a family. I can't believe Jebron and I will be celebrating our 2nd anniversary already this weekend. Time flies...

ONE WEEK OLD TODAY...

Well, I am one week old today, and I will tell you that I am loving life on the outs now that I've been here a minute. Things are good, and I'm even slipping into a routine with Mommy during the day. My Nana is coming over each day this week to help in cleaning the house, going to the grocery store, and even buying me some things I need. Daddy went back to work this week, and I think it has been hard on him. He just loves me so much that he wants to spend every waking minute with me. After he got home last night he didn't take his eyes off me. He even did my nightly feedings just to spend more time with me. As a result he gave up his time in the weight room this morning. I feel so special when I'm with Daddy.

I went to the doctor yesterday, and my jaundice is clearing up. The doc liked how alert I am and how much I am moving. The best news of all is that I am back to my birth weight...7lb 7oz. That made Mommy very happy. I have to go back to the doc on Thursday for a final color check with my jaundice. I also have a kinda big bump on the back of my head, and they want to check that out. I might have to have a CAT scan just to make sure it is just bone. I was noticing Dad has a pretty big bump on the back of his head in the same spot too, so I'm not too worried about it.

One week today...and doin' fine. Hope all of you are too. This is Isaiah Jebron signing off. God bless you each and every one!!!

Daddy is showing Isaiah himself in mirror Packed up and ready to go home from hosp.

Well, here we are. We have been home for 9 hours now, and Jebron and I couldn't be happier. I never could imagine how wonderful it feels to be a parent. I won't go into the complications and lengthiness of the birth, but trust me it was a rough one. The important thing is that he is here and I am here and everyone is healthy. I will put a plug in for Daddy Bron Bron though, he was great in that delivery room and he has been wonderful ever since. I am glad he had all those years of coaching, so he could help me through the labor and delivery. He's never coached like that before I guarantee it. Back to Isaiah...he is the most wonderful gift God could have ever given to us. We feel so thankful He has entrusted him to us for this time we are on earth. So many things can and do go wrong for so many, and we feel so blessed. What more can Jebron and I say, these past four days have been the hardest and the best days of our lives. We are completely in love with our son and one another. Thank you to all our friends and family who have prayed for us and helped us in so many ways, we love you all. Please post comments if you would like. We would love to hear from you!

The Nursery

Here is the nursery...Now all we need is the baby! :)

Isaiah's Baby Shower 7/15/2006...

THE SHOWER FOR BABY ISAIAH WAS ON JULY 15, 2006. IT WAS AT THE BAPTIST CHURCH, THE ONE JEBRON AND I USUALLY ATTEND. IT WAS A LOT OF FUN! I WASN'T SURE HOW IT WOULD TURN OUT, BUT ABOUT 28 PEOPLE SHOWED UP AND IT WAS JUST THE PERFECT AMOUNT OF PEOPLE. THE THINK THAT MADE OUR SHOWER SO SPECIAL WAS THAT WE HAD SO MANY GUESTS COME FROM OUT OF TOWN: JEBRON'S MOM, GRANDMA, AND AUNT GWEN CAME FROM SAN JOSE AND L.A., MY AUNTS KIKI AND JUDY CAME FROM SANTA ROSA, CALIF, AND MY GRANNY CAME FROM EAGLE, IDAHO. OF COURSE WE HAD OTHER PEOPLE MAKE THE MORE MINOR TRIPS FROM BAKER, ENTERPRISE, AND UNION, OREGON TO SPEND THE DAY WITH US. WE GOT SO MUCH STUFF! WE WERE ABLE TO GET EVERYTHING WE NEEDED FOR THE BABY WITHOUT HAVING TO SPEND HARDLY ANY OF OUR OWN MONEY. WE JUST FEEL SO BLESSED TO HAVE SO MANY PEOPLE INVOLVED IN THE LOVE AND CARE OF ISAIAH.

Jebron, Amy, and Baby at 37 weeks

Here we are at 37 weeks. Isaiah??? Come out...Come out...Wherever you are!!!

first entry...38wks 2days

We just started this blogging page and website so our friends and family far away could tune into our life. We are really looking forward to the birth of our son, Isaiah. The nursery is done, all the stuff is bought (man babys need a lot of stuff), and now we are just twittling our thumbs and waiting for him to decide to come. I wanted to try and post a picture taken at 37wks too, so hopefully it works! Hope all is well with everyone! God Bless - Jebron and Amy
